Responsible business

Overview

In compliance with our policy and contribution towards social development we have been involved in financing and in some instances initiating the social development programs and initiatives which are aimed at alleviating the financial difficulties of some of our fellow Namibians.

Social responsibility is essentially for our firm in moving beyond basic regulatory compliance by integrating socially responsible behavior into our values. Besides the fact that our commitment to social responsibility attracts and retains staff at ESI, clients also want to know that we are conscious about our role in the greater society.

Our projects

GAWA (Green Awareness Africa)
GAWA (Green Awareness Africa)

Gawa is a Section 21 (non-profit) company which has been set up with the explicit aim of creating, leading and growing the Green Movement in Namibia. Gawa's ultimate goal is to be an agent of change regarding green awareness in Namibia, changing our daily behaviors and attitudes in relation to the impact on our planet. To reduce our carbon footprint, we have joined up with GAWA to recycle the great deal of paper utilized in our firm on a daily basis.

Shack Dwellers Association
Shack Dwellers Association

The Shack Dwellers Association (SDA) is a network of urban and rural community members in all thirteen regions of our country. The SDA was launched in 1998. Considering the very important contribution the SDA is making in terms of community and in an effort to help the association to realize its goal we make monthly financial contributions to the Association.

One Economy Foundation
One Economy Foundation

We were approached by the office of the First Lady, to provide legal assistance, in the form of legal advice and contracts, in respect of her One Economy Foundation project, which assistance we did provide. We have also pledged our time and skills to assist and partner with the First Lady’s office for future pro-bono legal work that her office may require from us.
