Deogratius specializes in dispute resolution and litigation with experience in civil and commercial cases, land dispute and banking and finance matters. He advises local and international clients on complex disputes and transactions, with additional experience in emerging areas such as digital assets regulation.

Experience has included advising:

  • As a team member, in prosecuting and defending various banks in debt recovery disputes.
  • As a team member, representing major telecommunication companies on land disputes.
  • As a team member, currently advising the Office of the Attorney General on negotiation of complex commercial transactions, contract management, and investment-related dispute resolution.
  • As a team member, advising a Foreign Government Agency on amendment and review of a technical cooperation agreement with the Government of Tanzania.
  • As a team member, advise various Corporations and Organisations on data protection and regulatory compliance.
