GENI & KEBE is ranked again by leading directories in 2018

Chambers & Partners is recognized as the leading independent reviewer of lawyers and law firms. In 2018, GENI & KEBE has once again been ranked in recognition of the firm’s mining, energy, banking and finance work, as well as the firm’s reach through sub-Saharan Africa.

One source quoted by Chambers said GENI & KEBE lawyers are “very sophisticated and understand the needs of international clients”. Mr Mouhamed Kebe, Managing Partner, was also top-ranked in the directory.

IFLR1000 has recently announced that GENI & KEBE is again a Tier 1 firm in its Financial and Corporate category. Legal 500 has ranked GENI & KEBE for its work in Cameroon, commending the firm’s reach across West-Africa. For a second year, Mr Kebe has been profiled in Jeune Afrique’s annual publication of Africa’s top 50 business lawyers in Francophone Africa.

“With GENI & KEBE joining DLA Piper Africa in 2017, plus increasing foreign investment in our region, it has been a busy and rewarding year for our firm,” says Mr Kebe. “We have the privilege of working with clients on significant projects that are making a positive impact on development in sub-Saharan Africa. To be acknowledged for this work by the directories is an honour. We thank our clients and peers for their recognition and feedback.”
