Our intellectual property practice in Uganda conducts registrations and renewals of various intellectual property rights (trademarks, copyright, patents and industrial designs) at the Uganda Registration Services Bureau.

- MTN in defending a copyright infringement claim arising out of deployment of ring-back tunes.
- Africell on the nature of its liability as an internet service provider for the acts of copyright infringement committed by individual subscribers and website operators.
- Africell on its compliance and authorisation obligations with respect to the public performance of musical works and use of musical works as ring-back tunes.
