Audrey is a Senior Associate in the Corporate Practice Group of IKM. She has extensive experience in various corporate and commercial matters across various sectors including energy, agriculture, technology, telecommunications, retail, tourism, and financial services sectors.

She has advised both local and cross-border clients on a wide range of corporate matters including advising on and drafting different types of transaction documents, conducting legal due diligence, issuing legal opinions, advising and seeking regulatory approvals and engaging regulators.

Experience has included advising:

  • As a lead associate, local counsel advising BlackRock in its acquisition of 31.25% stake in Lake Turkana Wind Power.
  • As a lead associate, local counsel advising investors led by Softbank Vision Fund 2 in the injection of US$40 million Series B to Apollo Agriculture.
  • As a team member, local counsel advising a consortium of international investors led by IBL Group in the acquisition of 26% stake in the Naivas supermarket.
  • As a team member, re-organization of Toyota, Mercedez and Volkswagen distributorship in Kenya
  • As a lead associate, advising on the acquisition of Ol Lentille Lodge, a luxury Safari accommodation in Laikipia
  • As a lead associate, advising on the sale of Kitich Forest Camp.
  • As a lead associate, advising on the sale of a property development and management company based in Vipingo, Kilifi
  • As a team member, advising Family Bank Limited on its 2021 bond issuance of up to KES 8,000,000,000 Subordinated Multicurrency Medium Term Note Programme.
  • As a team member, advising the Kenya Mortgage Refinance Company Plc (KMRC) on issuance and listing of a mortgage refinance bond issuance.
  • As a team member, advising the Privatisation Commission on the proposed privatisation of a state corporation including conducting due diligence on the Company.
