Cynthia Injehu is an Associate in Commercial, Employment, Intellectual Property and Technology Practice. She works as part of a team advising local and international clients on day-to-day regulatory matters, with a focus on commercial law, employment law, intellectual property, immigration law and technology-related advisory.
Cynthia’s experience includes supporting clients on corporate set-ups and structuring, drafting and reviewing commercial and employment agreements, advising on ICT-related regulatory requirements, data protection and privacy compliance under Kenyan law, workplace procedures, termination processes, and general compliance with Kenyan employment laws. She also assists with intellectual property matters, including trademark registration, renewal and assignment, as well as intellectual property due diligence in corporate transactions.

- As a team member, an international organization on data protection and privacy compliance under the Kenyan Data Protection Act, including cross-border data transfer considerations.
- As a team member, clients on the registration, renewal, and assignment of intellectual property rights, including trademarks and copyrights, and liaising with the relevant registries to ensure compliance with statutory requirements.
- As a team member, a start-up technology company on intellectual property ownership and licensing issues, particularly in relation to software and digital products.
