Lilian is part of the Corporate Practice Group that advises on a full range of corporate matters including mergers and acquisitions, private equity, capital markets, financial services and competition law.
She advises a diverse portfolio of clients, including financial institutions, public and private companies, private equity and venture capital firms and investment banks, operating domestically, regionally and internationally.
Experience has included advising:
- As a team member, a franchisor on the establishment of a series of franchise hotels across Kenya.
- As a team member, various clients on comprehensive due diligence on Kenyan target companies, evaluating legal risks and preparing detailed reports in acquisitions and investments.
- As a team member, a bank in a share purchase and subscription transaction.
- As a team member, a lead reinsurer on the regulatory compliance of its reinsurance policy in Kenya.
