DLA Piper Africa, Kenya (IKM Advocates) advises Adenia Partners on acquisition of majority stake in Minet Group
DLA Piper Africa, Kenya (IKM Advocates) has advised Adenia Partners on its acquisition of a majority stake in Minet Group from Capitalworks. The acquisition completed on 30 June 2026 following receipt of all required regulatory approvals.
Adenia Partners is a leading private equity firm focused on growth opportunities across Africa. Through the acquisition, it adds Minet Group, one of the continent's largest independent insurance brokerage and risk advisory firms, to its portfolio.
Minet Group provides insurance brokerage, risk advisory and employee benefits solutions to corporates, SMEs and institutions across Botswana, Kenya, Lesotho, Malawi, Mozambique, Namibia, Tanzania, Uganda and Zambia.
