Enobong is a Senior Associate in the Corporate Practice Group of the firm. She has extensive experience in the provision of company secretarial services, governance, regulatory compliance and business advisory support to companies operating in various sectors. She is the firm's Governance and Sustainability Services lead.
Enobong has an extensive and proven wealth of experience in the ESG space and is responsible for overseeing a large portfolio of clients operating in various sectors, reviewing the environmental and social initiatives of various companies, and conducting comprehensive sector-specific corporate governance and sustainability maturity assessments for clients routinely. As a solution-oriented adviser, Enobong, has a strong commitment to contributing to the development of ESG Law in Africa and is a respected thought leader with publications and articles to her credit. She plays a pivotal role in supporting boards and their management teams to address sustainability challenges and to achieve their ESG objectives.
She has a background in corporate governance, and has advised numerous boards on the local and international standards of corporate governance. Enobong is a member of the Institute of Chartered Secretaries and Administrators UK, the Corporate Governance and Compliance Committee of the Nigerian Bar Association Section of Business Law, and a Trusted Board Advisor.
Experience has included advising:
- An International Not-For Profit Organisation on the requirements for establishing a business presence in Nigeria
- A multinational media and technology company on the regulatory requirements for registering a local entity in Nigeria
- A Media and Sports Company in Switzerland in relation to the set-up of a sport betting company in Nigeria
- One of the foremost Internet Service Providers in relation to the audit of the corporate governance structures of the Company
