We hereby inform mining titleholders, mining operators and other interested parties that pursuant to a National Mining Institute notice, dated 06 December 2021, the Mining Cadastre, at the Central level and the Provincial Directorates of Mineral Resources and Energy level, will be closed from 20 December 2021 and will reopen on 28 February 2022.

The purpose of the closure is to continue the updating of the mining titles management online system.

Of note that, during the above mentioned closing period, the Mining Cadastre will not receive any new applications for mining titles, however, applications for renewal of mining titles will be received, as well as, statutory reports from titleholders in accordance with legal and contractual obligations, proof of payment of the relevant taxes and fees and it will continue to process the applications that have been already submitted.
