DLA Piper Africa member firm in Nigeria, Olajide Oyewole (OOLLP ), was awarded ‘Project Finance Team of The Year' by ESQ Legal Awards, one of Nigeria’s top legal awards, on Sunday 4th November. The award was open to Nigerian Law Firms with a specialty in Project Finance and was judged on their five most valued deals within the past five years as well as a lead deal undertaken between December 2015 – June 2017.

ESQ Nigerian Legal Awards is organized by Legal Blitz, publishers of the ESQ Legal Practice magazine. The award reviews and analyses landmark commercial deals across the various sectors of the Nigerian economy, honoring outstanding law firms and legal professionals in Nigeria, and in the diaspora, who have contributed to the successful execution of these deals.
