Mandatory Annual Returns and Persons With Significant Control Filing at the Corporate Affairs Commission

The Corporate Affairs Commission will begin to query all post incorporation applications and approvals for companies without up-to-date Persons with Significant Control filings and annual returns filings. This directive is to take effect from 1^st of February 2023 and is in line with the provision of Section 119 CAMA 2020 on the disclosure of persons with significant control in a company.

In view of this, please be advised that no further applications or approvals can be processed on the CAC portal without full compliance with this directive with effect from the 1^st of February 2023.
