To the business community and interested parties in general, we are pleased to announce that the deadline for the approval of the company's accounts and the application of the fiscal year by the General Assembly, for companies whose fiscal year coincides with the calendar year (January 1 to December 31), is approaching. The same must be approved by April 30 of the current year. As stipulated by Article 37 and 120 of the Decree-Law no. 1/2022, of May 25, which approves the Commercial Code, the Assemblies must take place in the first 4 (four) months after the end of each fiscal year to deliberate, among other points, on the annual balance sheet and the management report for the fiscal year as well as the allocation of results.

Furthermore, it is necessary to point out that the notice of convening must indicate the documents available at the company's headquarters for the quotaholders consultation, at least 15 (fifteen) days before the Ordinary General Meeting, for limited liability companies and 30 (thirty) days before the meeting for public limited companies, and the financial statements must be attached to the notice to the quotaholders. It is also mandatory for public limited companies to publish the financial statements at least 10 (ten) days before the date set for the Ordinary General Meeting.

The punctual fulfillment of this obligation is fundamental to ensure good corporate governance and legal compliance, as well as transparency in business management.
