We hereby inform mining titleholders, mining operators and other interested parties that pursuant to a National Mining Institute notice, published on 29 December 2020, the Mining Cadastre, at the Central level and the Provincial Directorates of Mineral Resources and Energy level, will be closed from 01 February 2021 and will reopen on 01 April 2021.

The purpose of the closure is to continue the updating of the mining titles management online system.

During the period indicated above, the Mining Cadastre will not receive any new applications for mining titles, but it will continue to process applications already submitted, receive applications for extension of mining licenses, as well as the statutory reports from titleholders and the proofs of payment of taxes and fees, in accordance with legal and contractual obligations.
