Flexibility in the process of hiring foreign labor

We hereby inform the business community and other interested parties that as part of the reform of the process of hiring foreign labor at SIMIGRA, the labor authorities, through Order No. 01/MITSS/DTM/GD/213/2021, of 31st March 2021, have introduced some flexible measures, among which stand out the following:

  1. The process of hiring foreign labor, under the work permit regime, will be processed directly at SIMIGRA without the need of sending hard copies to the Central Services (MITSS);
  2. Introduction of the new model of application for hiring foreign labor containing new fields, namely a field for indicating the phone contact and email address of the company.

The foregoing measures aims to allow the sending or the alerting trough the email address of relevant information on the progress of the application, such as the availability of the payment slip and the collection of the dispatch/attestation.
