A world without music is unimaginable. Afrobeats, Highlife, Gospel, Country, R&B, Classical, Soul and K-pop are just a few of the genres of music we all enjoy listening too. Music is much more than what we hear and watch. The artist performing the song is literally just the tip of the iceberg.

Behind that performance is an entire business and industry worth billions of dollars. We examine the value of and the business of music around the world with particular attention on Nigeria and emphasize the  importance of a strong legal framework for the music industry.
