Louise is a Senior Associate in the Banking and Finance Department of Chibesakunda & Company.
Louise has experience in banking and finance, complex conveyancing transactions and business acquisitions. She also has experience in the registration of trademarks and patents. Louise’s clients range from some of the top-tier banks in Zambia, non-bank financial institutions, microfinance companies, international banks and DFIs.
Experience has included advising:
- China Development Bank in relation to the Safe City Project and Solar Mill Project
- Industrial and Commercial Bank of China on the Nkana Water Project
- IFC and OFID on financing projects in Zambia in relation to environmental and related concerns on a Zambian entity seeking IFC financing
- Norsad on project finance activities in Zambia
- China Development Bank on the funding of the Mansa/Luwingu Road Project
- China Development Bank on the tarring of 406 km Kitwe and Kalulushi Urban Roads projects
- Overseas Private Investment Corporation (OPIC) on the financing of the acquisition of Finance Bank Zambia PLC by ATLAS MARA through African Banking Corporation Zambia Limited
- AB Holdings Bostwana on the acquisition of its shares in African Banking Corporation Zambia Limited
- Export-Import Bank of China on the Lusaka Ndola Dual Carriage Road Project
- Citibank Zambia Limited, Stanbic Bank Zambia and Barclays Bank Zambia in various compliance and financing transactions
