  • disputes over non-compliance by the seller or buyer in the purchase and sale promissory agreements
  • disputes over the definition of who owns the property right of the real estate and the request for delivery of the asset

Experience has included advising:

  • A real estate fund with large number of lease offices in lawsuits against tenants for non-payment of rent and / or delivery of offices;
  • A technology company with a lawsuit against an occupant to recover possession of an important plot for construction of a building in Luanda CBD;
  • A logistics company in a lawsuit for the repossession of land which was part its premises occupied by a third party and trespass claims and government revocation/acquisition of title to land;
  • An investor who owns a shopping center with lawsuits against store users for termination or default of store-use agreements; and
  • A client the in bankruptcy lawsuit of an Angolan bank that was a tenant, filing in the process a claim for outstanding rent recovery of real estate assets (offices and bank branch).
